Thomas E. Wildermuth, 68, of Coolidge, Arizona passed away on March 26, 2014 after a short battle with cancer. Tom was a life-long resident of Coolidge. Tom attended Coolidge High School where he played varsity baseball, football, basketball and track all four years. He was also active in 4-H and Future Farmers of America and earned his Star Green Hand, Star State Farmer and his American Farmer Degree. After high school he attended the University of Arizona where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture Economics and also graduated from the University of Arizona School of Law with a Juris Doctor Degree. He then returned to Coolidge where he practiced law for 44 years as a public defender and in private practice, served as a City of Coolidge Municipal Judge as well as a Florence City Judge and Judge Pro-tem for the Pinal County Juvenile Court. In addition to practicing law, Tom loved to farm and had various farming partnerships over the years. Most recently he grew alfalfa on the family homestead. He was very active in his community. He was a member of the Elks Club and Masonic Lodge, served on the School Board of Coolidge Unified Schools, Future Farmers of America Advisory Board, City Chamber of Commerce Board, was the President of the Pinal County Bar Association and Pinal County Legal Aid Society.
