Three people were found dead Saturday night in Mission Royale in what police believe was a double murder and a suicide.
According to a press release from the Casa Grande Police Department, it appears 36-year-old Dennis Dynia shot his parents and then shot himself.
Police officers were led to the home in the 2300 block of East Santiago Trail, where the bodies were found, after a neighbor called the department Saturday night requesting a welfare check on the Dynias, whom she hadn’t seen since Thursday afternoon.
When police went to the house just before 6:30 p.m. Saturday, they could see through a window a woman lying on the floor. Officers forced their way into the house, where they found the dead woman, Maria Dynia, 59, and her dead husband, 66-year-old Stanislaw Dynia. Maria had been shot in the head, police said, and Stanislaw had been shot in the chest several times.
Dennis Dynia was found in an automobile in the home’s garage, dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot to the head. A handgun was found in the car next to Dennis, police said.
