Brittney Coffman, left, and Samantha Martinez, sixth-graders from St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School, participate in planting flowers and pinwheels at the Children’s Flower Garden Friday in front of City Hall. The Casa Grande City Attorney’s Office’s Victim Assistance Program invited students from St. Anthony’s, Cottonwood, McCartney Ranch and Casa Grande Middle School to plant flowers for National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The garden represents child victims of abuse. The flowers were provided by Desert Glen Commercial Landscape Group Inc. and pinwheels were sponsored by Against Abuse.
