The Arizona City Golf Course is open and Women’s Golf Association held the first competition of the season on Wednesday, November 6.  The game of the day was called Good and Bad.  Each team added the lowest net score—that’s the good score—and the highest net score—that’s the bad score—for their team score.

Marty Lossee, Val Champa, Margaret McKim and Joyce Mowry won the game with a total of 151.  Liz Barclay, Sally Harrison, Marilyn Parker and Chris Perkins finished in second place with a final score of 152.  Laurie Pederson, Mona Wilmot, Jackie Warren and Marilyn Schaal scored 154 to finish in third place.

Cathy Chadsey won closest to the pin on the eighth hole and Liz Barclay had the closest drive on seventeen.

Our first association meeting was held following golf.  Val Champa called the meeting to order and Cathy Chadsey was sworn in as Secretary.  Judy Saupe is the Vice President and Laurie Pederson is the Treasurer.  We look forward to a great year of golf and fun.
